I can't believe it....they are really stirring things up now. What do we think about this....? Where can they possibly go with this.....?
Can't really even comment on the rest of the issue, it was good, but
BATMAN HAS A SON? I have to calm down before I form an opinion..

BATMAN HAS A SON? I have to calm down before I form an opinion..old news we first saw him in a little tpb called Batman: son of the Demon.:cool:

I do not see Batman and his son getting along at all. The kid is definitly a nutcase next issue it looks like he goes after Robin.

W00t! Andy Kubert's art was amazing in this issue.

So the kid's name is Damien? Huh.

So far, too much hasn't happened in Morrison's first 2 issues. Joker is shot in the face. Batman goes to London. Talia unleashes Ninja Man Bats on London. Batman fights Ninja Man Bats. Batman is held captive by Talia and meets his long lost son. So far, I like where things are headed.

So Batman doesn't take the mask off when he has sex... Hmm.

Thanks to the addition of an inker, the art was way better and the fight was crazyfun. "Man-Bats. Ninja Man-Bats. Alarming twist."

Loved seeing Batman throw down with all those Ninja Bats.

And seeing those comic arts in the museum and how they worked for the situation was really awesome as well.

"Blam!"

The art was great and I'm looking forward to the next issue. The only thing that threw me off was when he's in the sewer all of a sudden. Did I miss something?

You know, I didn't even notice that. I knew something stood out of that dialogue when I read it, but I see it now, haha!:D

It's been a long time since I've been able to describe a Batman book as fun. It's refreshing.

I also liked the pop art being featured in the fight very much. That was a detail that added to the story instead of just being there for the sake of detail. I also appreciate Andy being the good son and referencing his father.

Really enjoying this Title. Morrison is really hitting the nail on the head with this one. The pacing and the action is fast and it's great to see Batman not brooding in a dark hole somewhere. I can't wait for this book to come out next month, its like a good TV show that leaves you on the edge of your seat at the end of every epsiode. Morrison is golden whatever he touches really is great, and we're only 2 books deep. Oh and Kubert is kicking arse as well... What a great title.

Can someone please explain to me how the child is the result of the events of Son of the Demon? Judging from the little flashback scene and Talia's words, it looks as though the child was conceived in the first desert sword-fight Ra's appearance in Detective Comics (or was it Batman? ra's had started appearing in both at the time, i think) by O'Neil and Adams. There's no mention of Qayne, no mountain fastness in the Himalayas (on the contrary, the love scene flashback is in a tent in what looks to be an oasis), no mention of the marriage at all. All in all, it seems to me that the tie in to Son of the Demon is due more to fan speculation and DC's desire to sell a "necessary backstory" in new form even though it (thus far) has no real presence in the storyline.

I know, I was a little taken aback at the story of "Damien's" conception -- "if that is in fact your real name!" :::dun:dun:DUNNNN::: :p It doesn't seem to actually reference any details of Son of the Demon, where the kid was named Thomas, among other things.

Still a very good issue. And not that the art wasn't good last month, but it's better now. The pop art stuff was brilliant. The one-panel Aunt Agatha flashback threw me for a loop. Fun stuff.:D
