More than likely, the new trailer will debut on Entertainment Tonight or another show of its ilk prior to the 14th, when Daredevil opens.

Universal: This second theatrical trailer for 'The Hulk' follows the well-received, widely-seen TV spot that aired during the first quarter of the January 26 Super Bowl broadcast. Universal Pictures will release 'The Hulk' on June 21.

Acclaimed filmmaker Ang Lee's concept for his film adaptation of the classic Marvel Comics series, 'The Hulk,' combines all the elements of a blockbuster visual effects-intensive superhero movie with the brooding romance and tragedy of Universal's classic horror films. In depicting 'The Hulk' as both a superhero and a monster, a wish fulfillment and a nightmare, Lee and his team have stayed true to the early subversive spirit of the character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, while completely updating 'The Hulk' and projecting it into the dangers and aspirations of contemporary times.

Eric Bana ('Black Hawk Down') stars as scientist Bruce Banner, whose inner demons transform him in the aftermath of a catastrophic experiment. Academy Award(R) winner Jennifer Connelly ('A Beautiful Mind') portrays Betty Ross, whose scientific genius unwittingly helps unleash The Hulk; Nick Nolte ('The Thin Red Line') plays Banner's brilliant father, who passes on a tragic legacy to his son, and Sam Elliott ('The Contender') portrays the commander of a top-secret military research center.

OK, that may have been too much imformation. I'm excited about seeing the Hulk trailer in front of Daredevil on the 14th. A quick commentary:

I have heard many positive things about both movies from people that don't like/read comics (sounds like good news so far). It ranges from "Daredevil acts like and makes HUMAN decisions and refuses to fall into the campy 'What would a SUPERHERO do?' mentality," to the ever popular "DID YOU SEE THE HULK SWING THAT TANK AROUND?!?" I say again, that sounds like good news.

On the other spectrum are the comic book buying (loving) viewers that compare the HULK to SHREK on steroids and Daredevil to gay porn. Why must we be so self-defeating? Save the pity for the French, I say!*

Commentary Over.

*not intended to make fun of French people, but just using the old joke that the French fold like a card table whenever an enemy approaches.**

**yes, I know I'm stealing the (*) bit from OM.

I recently read somewhere that they're "updating" the Hulk's FX appearance due to all of the "Shrek" comparisons...

Any truth to this, Matt? Anyone?

Just wonderin',

I don't think he looks like Shrek.

Check http://www.theforce.net for a related article. If you can't find it on the main page look for a link to the Holonet news page. Should be there. It was put up a day or two ago. The old news is bumped off daily but it's archived. ILM is working around the clock to make it believable and since it's all CGI and not photographic like what was done with Gollum it better be good. I have total faith in what they can do but after seeing Two Towers they're getting a run for their money. Especially considering they taught WETA a few pointers on how to do it.

All in all I think we're the winners because of it. The companies HAVE TO produce the best effects they can for nobody other than us the paying customer. Great Time for movies.

Can't wait for the Daredevil movie but I think I am more excited for the new Hulk trailer.
