Civil War tie-ins have continued to fly off the shelves as the biggest Marvel event ever continues to electrify readers. In fact, three more tie-ins have sold out at Diamond in Civil War: Front Line #1, Wolverine #43, and X-Factor #8.

Marvel is going back to press on all three of these issues with all-new second printing covers. Civil War: Front Line #1 and Wolverine #43 will feature the thematic “interior shot” covers while the X-Factor #8 second printing will receive an all-new cover from interior artist Dennis Calero.

Fans are excited over all the Civil War tie-ins thus far and the critics have continued to praise the event as a whole.

Timothy Lee of Paperbackreader.com calls Wolverine #43 “a well written Wolverine issue…Guggenheim is the new face of Wolverine, and he proves the “Snikt” isn’t gone. If you are a fan of Chris Claremont’s Wolverine, then I think you will enjoy Guggenheim’s version.”

Geoff Collins of SilverBulletComicBooks.com calls X-Factor #8 “an air tight comic. It’s a good jump on point for both X-Factor and Civil War while continuing both those stories. David’s dialogue is smart, occasionally funny, natural, and always builds the overall story…Calero makes it even better with his art.”

Mike Podgorski of SpiderFan.org calls Civil War: Front Line #1 “a very well-written story, and the art fits with the story. This is a very good book, and highly recommended.”

And it’s not just the scores of Marvel Zombies picking up these tie-ins. New comics fans are coming in droves looking for anything Civil War. Atomic Comics owner Mike Malve says, “We have never had as many non traditional comic fans come in and the constant phone calls like we have seen due to Civil War.”

The first five Civil War tie-in second prints have been just as hot as the first printings with Amazing Spider-Man #532, Wolverine #42, and She-Hulk #8 all selling out at Diamond with New Avengers: Illuminati and Thunderbolts #103 second printings well on their way. Be sure to be on the look out for these issues when they hit stands July 19.

And don’t forget the upcoming second printings of Civil War: Front Line #1, Wolverine #43, and X-Factor #8 as Civil War continues to be the hottest part of summer.

Retailers should continue to check orders on upcoming Civil War titles and increase where needed! Marvel continues to thank retailers and fans for the continued support in making Civil War a huge success.

glad to see X-Factor getting a boost.

The book is quality, and i hope a few readers stick around after the crossover/tie-in arc.

This book is the only one that I feel is dealing with a lot of the weirder elements of the Marvel Universe that appear to have been dangling in other titles.

And kudos to Peter David for making Layla Miller the creepiest know-it-all in the 616.

:D

In a moment of madness I decided to collect all the tie-ins. And there hasn't been a weak issue yet. finally Marvel shows how to do this kind of thing in the right way. Though having said that there's still plenty of rope left to hang themsleves with!!

I totally agree. I'm enjoying all of the CW tie-ins as well.

I really enjoyed House of M when it was coming out (even though the tie-ins were hit and miss), but now that I'm reading Civil War, I look back at the House of M crossover as a whole and it seems to pretty much suck in comparison. I just hope Marvel can keep the momentum going throughout the entire Civil War.

However, even though I'm thoroughly enjoying this latest event, I sincerely hope that Marvel gives us all a break and waits at least two years before doing another. No matter how good they are (or aren't), line wide crossovers are just too exhausting after awhile. Decimation just seemed to drag on forever and ever and ever and ever...

Agreed, the House of M crossovers were ill conceived. this time they seem to be doing it right. And I agree a moratorium (sp?)of at least 18 months should happen for these event stories.Decimation was a good idea but it seemed to lack focus to a certain extent.
Marvel's big problem will be closing Civil War to a satisfactory conclusion and the side effects of it...

I can't believe Wolvie sold out with that atrocious art.

Kudos to the other 2 though.

After reading #8, I picked up back issues #1-7 and added it to my pull list. This title is rock solid.

Yeah, the art is different and it's weird some "art-proportion-touchy" people would buy it. But anyway, I don't think the art is what made this book getting sold-out. It has a great story and lots of action. Personally, I'm liking the series so far and want to finish this arc. I just hope they get another artist. I like Ramos' style, but I know there are others who can do better...

Like Guinness (the drink) Ramos is an acquired taste. I really don't mind his stuff but I did think him an unusual fit. Having said that his style suits the story to a certain extent. And Guggenheim (who I don;t know much about) is really writitng an excellent tale.
