If you ran Marvel...

Inspired by the If you ran DC... (http://www.newsarama.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=65025) thread... a fun little game about assigning writers and artists for the line. I know, I know, we've all done these before, but there's a few rules this time.

1) Excluding the Icon books, all the others will be fair game. MAX, Ultimate, etc.

2) Each artist can be used only once. Each writer can be used a maximum of three times.

3) Keep in mind exclusive deals and whatnot. We'll try not to use DC exclusive writers/artists and we'll try to be realistic with our other writers. For example, even though Whedon's writing for Marvel now, I don't think he'd be interested in writing three monthlies. And I'd be really surprised to see folks like Alan Moore coming back to Marvel...

4) Let's be imaginative! Of course, there's some teams you don't want to break up, but let's be somewhat bold and creative, too.

5) Feel free to add new titles or cancel existing titles.

6) You can add policy changes or whatnot, but the main part of the game is writers and artists.

A few notes:

The Mystique book would be like the 24 of the MU (ALMOST became a Black Widow book).

I would say to every writer :

"Ok, we are gonna pretend that JQ was never here and just write what you like to write, if you like a bunch of mutants in the universe just put them, but write them well, but stay away of the true character and origin of the characters" and for the one one who would write wolvie I would tell him, that the first issue he does, Wolvie must have a cigar in his mouth for the entire issue, and I would make a one shot called Daredevil: Mother _____ that would be a cool story but just to make fun I would announce it will come out in certain date and just release it one week earlier.

About the New books:
If you look in the Marvel Heroes Section I created 3 new ongoing books so I wanted to show what I was thinking when Icame up with the idea.
1. Spiderman/Wolverine Marvel's Finest: So first off I did take this idea from DC's World's Finest book. I think it was a good idea to have your two biggest icons be partnered in the same book especially if they have differing view points and methods in being heroes.

2.Unlimited: Instead of having seperate unlimited series I decided to role everything into one and have new creators choose what heroes they want to write about instead of limiting them to an X-Men or Spider-man story. This is where new creator owned heros can make appearances. It gives fans a chance to check out new heroes or see some old favorites that can't necessarily carry their own book.

3. Marvel Heroes: This is somewhat like Unlimited except with a few restrictions. Only heroes that don't have their own ongoing series can have the spotlight. This will be for our rop level talent to tackle stories with heroes that aren't Wolverine and Spider-Man. So you could see top lvel talent like Mark Millar and Steve McNiven Working on Alpha Flight, or Bendis and Maleev working on New Warriors.

Wolverine would appear in Astonishing, Wolverine, and Marvel's Finest with sporadic appearances in Uncanny. Spider-Man would appear in Amazing for classic-fun style Spidey stories, Peter-Parker for the grim, introspective stories. He would still be a part of the New Avengers and co-star with Wolverine in Marvel's Finest. District X would have the same concept as the first series only that I would add Sage as another supporting character for Bishop. I would try and spread heroes out a little more. The Astonishing X-Men and New Avengers/Young Avengers would stay in New York. Uncanny X-Men would be based out of Genosha. Thunderbolts would move to the West Coast in LA. Heroes for Hire would be based out of Chicago. Punisher would be based out of Washington, D.C. X-Factor would be based out of Sin City (Las Vegas).
