View Full Version : No One Has Touched The Poccy Arc

I'm just surprised nobody has talked or started a thread on Milligan's last story arc for Xmen before the new change.
Is Xmen so awful, nobody here wants to chat about it?
Beside me, anybody reading the darn thing?
spoiler space, because you know .. its the right thing to do.
I don't like the choice of horseman. Mostly because my fav will be one and I don't like it. Means he'll be gone for awhile and it makes me grumpy. I won't be buying the books after this arc. So, I won't notice that nobody is talking about this book. Though, no one seems to anyway. Which I find ironic.
So .. Gazer will be War, Sunfire must be famine. Who knows who Pestilence is ... and Gambit will be Death. I don't buy the BS of why they become horsemen. The "whole choice" issue. I would buy it better if it wasn't by choice. But they've done that so many times, they need to shake things up.
I'm a Gambit fan, so I don't see why his character would willingly chose to be a horseman. He's already done this sort of thing with Sinister.
I won't dwell, what are your thoughts on the whole arc, or other parts of the story.
Curious.

I bought the last three issues because of Doop, and I regret it. Aside from establihsing some possible connection between Doop and Apocalpse, I haven't learned anything new about the green dude whose ML comes with Deadpool. It went from the Lornatime Adventure to Apocalypse's Horeseman Hour. A distinct lack of X-Men. Although I suppose it's not like there aren't other X-titles on the market.

Er... ahh... pardon my idiocy, but but I don't understand the meaning of "whose ML comes with". I'd be very interested in any Doop/Deadpool connection.
Is Doop Pestilence?

There are like four threads on this very subject on who the hell is Gazer and a thread on the book in both here and the Review forum.

The Marvel Legends Deadpool comes with Doop for some reason.

Well, then whoops on my part. I didn't recognize the threads. I look here every couple of days and I don't read them all, and there was nothing that gave me a hint there was a thread already. So, my apologies
As for my nickname for Apocalypse .. well its easier than the spelling of his name. Lazy, sure, but spelled correctly and not as horrible as Rogue as Rouge.
Sorry to waste everybody's time. But it never appeared ever here you talk about the Xmen book, it gets buried too fast.

I wonder if Gambit will get any new powers or techno organic jizz?
I hope Sunfire is somehow made as groovy as his AoA version and goes Hiroshima on the x-men.

I'm not even bothering. Milligan hasn't done a good job so far so I doubt it will change and I can't wait for Mike Carey to take over.

Unless they bring back X-man for this whole new Apoc stuff, will wait for a trade or snag some cheap issues off ebay or something.

Nate Grey should stay dead... .uh.. ascended.
To bring him back would cheapen the character, look how bad the return to the AoA was.... ugh!

True, but I'm also not that optimistic about Mike Carey.
X-books are in shambles now.
I was VERY excited about Milligan's run before reading it. Eh...
I loved Bachalo's art but the Uncanny issues are just bad.
And New X-men?? Pretty surprisingly decent, haha
Astonishing and X-factor to me are by far the best of the bunch. X-freaking-factor.
Wolverine's good too.
