So the Bendis/Maleev era of Daredevil is rapidly drawing to a close, and, I have to say, I will miss it terribly. It's been at the top of my reading stack since they started, and it has remained the title I look forward to most each month. It is absolutely one of the strongest, most consistent runs I've read on any title. Ever! So thanks, BMB and Maleev, for the years of entertainment, and good luck to Brubaker in following this epic.
Anyone want to join in the toast?
And does anyone want to speculate on what can possibly happen in the next issue? 'Cause I have no idea.

Hear, hear, this has been my favorite run on 'ol horhead since Ann Nocenti was on the series. I have no idea how they are going to end this arc with the way 80 ended. I am looking forward to Brubaker/lark on the series, though. i will be following Bendis to the Spiderwoman series.

yeah, I almost forgot that we have spider-woman to look forward to from this team.
and I sure am interested to see what Brubaker/Lark have in store.
But I sure as hell am going to miss Bendis' writing on Daredevil, and the various cast of characters in Hell's Kitchen.
a fun ride that is over , but totally satisfying.
Best run of Daredevil ever. I cant wait to see what they do with Spider Woman.

I more than appreciated it, I outright loved it. One of the best, consistent runs on any comic ever. The Murdock Papers has been an excellent run, and I'm sure will be a great capper to the Bendis/Maleev era. They are going out in style!
I'm also really looking forward to Brubaker/Lark!

I've enjoyed their run.
It's the first time I've ever been able to get into DD longterm.
But now I'm looking forward to them passing the torch. I've gotten a littel bored with their last couple arcs for some reason. Ready for a change.

Dropped it with #75, but mostly due to financial concerns.
It was great stuff, and easily the best DD stuff I'd read since the days of Frank Miller.

I concur with the sentiments here. This was the book that got me hooked on comics, for real, more so than when I was kid.
Of course, it's just one of many great books that were floating around at the time, including Morrison's X-Men and Allred/Milligan's X-Statix.
Still, you just can't beat Maleev's art. I can't, anyways.
I hope Brubaker and Lark can "bring it" to the new arc, but I am prepared to leave the book if I need to... because the bar has been set so high.
