I love the direction they're taking with Hulk. I think it would be even cooler if they had him get a pet bear, then team up with a cool Indian and a cranky old prospector who's always fighting with his mule.

I don't know what's up with Hulk and the bear but I'm dying for something worthwhile to happen in this book. Peter David's return was a welcome one and I'm hoping this new team is able to keep up if not exceed the pace.

Genius! Marvel must do this.
So...this is the setup arc for the big Hulk event of 2006.
Anybody got any clue of where that storyline will go?
Any basic ideas?
I understand that it is said that it will make Hulk a major player in the MU again.

Ken Cha is awesome. I loved his art on witchblade awhile back and his stuff now is even moreso awesome.

Wow Way really does his detractors justice. Boring as hell dialogue when there is any, over 6 decompressed pages.
This is what Marvel considers Terrific.....
A third of the book and nothing of any interest has happned so far.
These are the kind of writers that seem to get Joe all wet though. The way things are going Im going to be bailing on Marvel very soon.
How can anyone get so excited by selling boring.

I'll give the premise a chance...the idea doesn't bother me...and Daniel Way has bought himself a few issues based on my liking his Supreme Power mini...BUT...
It seems like it is taking 3-4 issues to get him from Alaska to the big "to do" in outerspace. Smells like over-decompression. If it reads like that, I'm gone.

I've looked forward to this Ghost Rider series for a long time. Crain's digital painting is definitely the way of the future, and Ennis' writing is so much more interesting than the average graphics dreck. But I'm disappointed that the art here has the same problem as Crain's Venom/Carnage series. It's just too murky. You can't see all of it. I still see enough to enjoy it, but I thought this problem had been recognized and at least improved, if not resolved.

I'm hoping that Keu Cha can make the deadlines. He's not really the fastest artist on the planet.

The last thing you want in a Hulk book is the soft, blurry look caused by cheapskates leaving out the inker.

Well after looking at that Hulk preview I can tell I might even make it to a decade before I buy another one. Haven't bought Hulk since David left the 1st time and his return from what I've seen didn't do it either. THIS crappy 6 page preview elicits a zzzzzzz! Nice art though!
Ghost Rider *shakes head* I can't imagine one of my favorite creations from Marvel getting yet another badly written mini. Sigh! ANd worse that horrible artwork from Venom/Carnage!
Ah well two passes and two definates in trade. No way I'll pass up Brubaker on Doom when it comes out in trade. And this Capt. Universe event sounds fun! Aside from the X23 issue that is...

The article says Daredevil/Captain Universe is penciled by Paul Siqueira (what's he done? Where's he from?) but the previewed pages' credits say the penciler is Juan Santacruz. ;)
