Anybody know about the three-issue ASPEN mini-series?

It looks like Turner published FATHOM as "ASPEN" while he was breaking away from Top Cow.

Is this correct? Are Aspen and Fathom the same character?

Aspen Matthews is the heroine of "Fathom" and "Aspen." She does not call herself Fathom.

I read the three issue series. As always with Turner, beautiful art. But each issue was about 12 pages of story with a bunch of pinups and interviews about how great Aspen imprint was gonna be. Gorgeous to look at, but at the end of the day I paid nearly $10 for what felt like a single issue story, and not even a very compelling one.

But it did introduce Kiani (from Aspen: Dawn of War), so it's not all bad. I have boycotted Turner since, out of frustration.

There is a collected edition of the three books called Aspen Extended Edition. It's called Extended because, well - it is. 8 (I think) extra story pages drawn especially for this that picks up where #3 ends.
You should have no problem finding it in your comic-shop.

His characters have abnormally sized abdomens. But I like his Batman.
