I dunno... but I sure do miss VALERIA THE SHE-BAT in a sheer cheesy kind of way.
What... I'm serious! Why are you all looking at me that way?!?
Actually, I think VALERIA was cancelled after Issue #2... but don't quote me on that.
Having flashbacks,

Yes, I know what happened. Many yas ago here was a great interview with Neal Adams (Valeria writer/artist) in Wizard in which he said that the deal basically fell through because his intitial agreement with Todd McFarlane was never written, but based on a phone conversation (a 'handshake' deal). Apparently Todd became scared that it would come out too close to the release of the Spawn/Batman crossover, and would affect potential sales. So McFarlane withdrew his permision to Adams to use Spawn. The issue did come out, but used Knighthawk (another of Adams' creations, instead).
EDIT: The interview was in Wizard 46 (June 1995)

It's shocking, I know. But still, stranger things have happened.

Yeah. For instance, there's a big row developing on the John Byrne thread of the DC subforum. I've never seen that happen before either! :D

I must admit that is unheard of!
Imagine the carnage if you were to post there in Farsi!
Better yet, I think you should make the 'post only in Farsi' thread for the Byrne robotics forum! :D

Wouldn't work! You're only allowed to post in gibberish and gobbledegook over there! ;) :D

Thanks nietoperz!
This remind me of the issue with Cerebus, this issue never
came out in germany cause Dave Sim did not allowed
reprints
A shocker for all german fans, and maybe the rest of the world.
What a luck I collected the US issues first.:)

Heh. Beat me to it. The credit IS all yours.
But I'm the goddamn Batman, so I probably struck fear into his heart. Or something...

I would have liked to see more of Valeria, but alas, it didn't happen.
