View Full Version : Fallen Angel #3 Solicit Say It Ain't So... (Spoilers?)

The Fallen Angel has a new mission: To keep her grown son, Jude, as far as possible from his father, Doctor Juris... lest the curse of running Bete Noire be passed on to him. Two problems: Jude and Juris are already together, and Jude's brother, Jubal, is gunning for him.

Not that tired cliche :(

And the series was doing so good.

David's a good writer, and a good writer should be able to turn even the most overused cliche into soemthing that reads fresh.

I think this is one of the most used cliches of the last few years.

I've seen it play out on Angel, Birds of Prey, Smallville, and now this.

What was wrong with the baby staying a baby and ageing at a normal rate? Wouldn't it have been more dramatic that way?

This series takes place 20 years after the original ends, so her baby would be grown. I thought you were refering to the kids evil legacy cliche, but he should be full grown by the time this volume begins.
