In English the ultimate Invincible hardcover was originally release in such small numbers that almost everybody who wanted it never got one, apparently a second hardcover edition is about to hit stores possibly in the next few weeks, maybe next week
in the meantime Invincible got to cross the Atlantic over to France got a french translation and got printed in a good quality hardcovers with tome quality paper, first arc as volume 1, and it took at least an other month to get shipped back to North America for french comic book stores in Montréal Canada, and that was like a month since those arrived
still waiting for that original English hardcover and with all the delays it could look as if those comic were originally written in french; Image could have let the french print the English version and with the extra month in shipping we would have had that book much sooner
I was able to order one from Overstock a few weeks ago well after the sold out announcement.
And the French version is on my Christmas list.
