But I do collect Usagi Yojimbo, which I can't recomend any higher. Its great.

I also like Hero @ Large by Speakeasy. It was funny and clever.

Usagi Yojimbo is definitely an all-time favorite! I love the series, and I can't wait to read Fathers and Son!!

I just read Age of Bronze: Sacrifice recently, and it was as powerful as the first volume.

Finder is a real treat, very well thought out and constructed.

I'm looking forward to the new editions of Concrete, as I've liked what I've read of the series, but haven't read very much so far.

Anything Will Eisner ever did is worth reading. The Plot is nearly at the top of my reading stack right now.

Epileptic was another recent, brilliant read. Extremely high recommedation.

Love & Rockets is, arguably, my all-time favorite series.

Queen & Country should come back from hiatus. It's Rucka's best series.

Scott Pilgrim was a blast. I'll be starting vol. 2 soon.

Just a few......

Wonder if Planetary, Ex Machina, 100 Bullets, and Powers count? ;-)

Aside from them, I love Invincible, PvP, NYC Mech, Small Gods, Jack Staff, Kane, Ferro City, a lot of other Image minis, Queen and Country, Blue Monday, Usagi Yojimbo, and various Warren Ellis titles. This list is by no means complete. :p

The top three (in no order) that stick out in my mind are Conan, The Walking Dead, and Invincible.

Strange Girl is ok so far, PvP is always funny, I can't wait for Fallen Angel to start back up again, the first issue of Fell kept my interest, and Fear Agent should be good. Savage Dragon is also good (not great anymore) WHEN IT ACTUALLY COMES OUT.

This is really easy, since no "Big 2" book appears in my Top 5. and only two appear in my top 10.

1. Jack Staff (Image)
2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Mirage)
3. Noble Causes (Image)
4. Invincible (Image)
5. Thieves & Kings (iBox)

For the record, Legion of Superheroes and Fables make my top 10.

My favourite non DC & Marvel comics

Fell- after two issues, I'm convinced that this will be a great series.

Small Gods- this is painful, I don't wanna see it go, it was such a good series.

Beowulf- This has been consistantly good, shame it doesn't come out on a regular basis.

Godland- cool, goofy fun with good art.

It started out really strong, but the last two issues have taken a nose dive in terms of story, and the new artist is fraking GARBAGE!

I had to cut it. Too bad, it could have been great.

Small Gods was great.
A book that doesn't make the top 300 and only comes out every 3-4 months is a title called "LAST MINUTE" by Aces & Eights publishing. Black and White but great art and an interesting story.
Probably can't find it anywhere but try and give it a shot. It can be a quest. It is currently up to issue 6.
try it i think you'll like it and i highly doubt the creator is making money on it yet.

This is mine. I follow it in digests (it reads much better that way imho)

Although sadly, I've heard that it is coming to an end in the next year and a half. I hope there's exactly enough material to warrant a Pocket Digest Vol. 6 so that I can have the whole epic neat and clean on my bookshelf.

The ending of Vol 4 has me screaming to know what happens next, and yet fulfilled and satisfied at the same time. I can't express how much I love this book.

Outside of that, I loved the Serenity comics by Dark Horse. If the movie doesn't make enough to justify a sequel, they should just make a Serenity ongoing *hint*hint*

It's a depression era gangster who lives in a town overrun by zombies, giant flying communist squid, and the supernatural. Absolutely friggin' hilarious.

The 25 cent issue is a reprint of the first issue of the current ongoing, and also contains a brand new story to boot.

Fell--after two issues--has quickly become my favorite and highly anticipated title on my pull

Invincible is definitely up there too, I'll buy anything that Kirkman does.

Finally, I'm really enjoying Girls. After picking up Ultra in trade form I fell in love with the Luna Brothers method of storytelling, and was glad to hear that this title is ongoing.

Love & Rockets and Usagi Yojimbo.

Not only are they better than just about anything else being published, but they've been setting the standard for 20 years or more. It's ridiculous to think that Beto and Jamie have been telling such great stories with such consistency since I was five years old!!

There are almost no mini-series or graphic novels that can compare to the quality of these two series. The number of ongoing series that have come even slightly close could be counted on two or three fingers.

Most the indy stuff I buy I pick up in trades. Like Walking Dead, Strangers In Paradise, various OGN series.
