I finally decided to give Death Jr. a try yesterday so I went ahead and picked up #1 at the shop. (I think they are up to #3 now)

Great book. I know it's based on a video game that I have never heard of, and really have no idea what kind of game it would be.

A lot of great moments in the book. All of his "freaky friends" are cool and it was hilarious how they had to get to the museum in this issue. I especially liked Pandora.

Ted Naifeh's art is great and it is great to see it in full color.

Best thing about the book is that it is like 48 pages, I think, for $4.99, in full color.

Anyone else reading this? Are the next issues good?

A very crappy game, from everything I've heard. The entire 3 (I believe) issue mini is supposed to be good, and there's a trade either out now or coming soon.

Well, at least they got a good comic out of it!

I got the first issue, but not the second or third.

If I don't find them before the trade comes out, I'll just get it.

Great series. I'd buy the sequel (if they make one).

It is an excellent three issue mini-series.

But you can pretty much guarantee that anything Ted Naifeh tackles will be worth your while.

Courtney Crumrin, How Loathsome, Unearthly, Polly and the Pirates.

I have yet to read a project Ted has had his hand in that I haven't been pleased with.
