oh man its tough to describe because its so unique. its a futuristic story about politics, war, economics, and social climate. the main character is from chicago's cabrini green housing projects and it follows her bizarre journey.

I have the 1st ish...but Have been un able to track down the last three. It is pretty freaking awesome though. And with this and DKR it's pretty obvious Miller didn't like Regan!:p

Yeah this was good stuff. All the Martha Washington books were top notch too.

I have the trade. it's a pretty gripping, very smart book. I hope that you guys can track down those missing issues, because it's definitely worth reading at least once.

Yeah, "Give Give Me Libery" is a great read, haven't touched the other ones yet, though. I think its Miller's most intelligent work, and his most relatable..
However, I give 50 bucks to the person who can tell me, definitely, if the Surgeon General is a guy or a robot.

Whenever I hear the ol' misogynist Miller stuff, I refer to these books. Martha is awesome! I would recommend reading all the Martha Washington... series after GML, and read them in order.

Wow! Talk about out of the blue....nice thread. I got em all, brand spanking new the day they were released. I was a big Frank Miller junkie. Great stuff. It's been awhile since I've read them but I remember being blown away. Around the same time Miller released a book called 'Hard Boiled' with Geoff Darrow and another book about a boy robot (which, oddly I remember being a Saturday morning cartoon) with Darrow. Fantastic stuff. I'd really wish he'd visit these characters again! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

What is the order of the trades? I was going to buy the Give Me Liberty trade a few months ago, but ended up picking up Ronin instead. Haven't read any of the Martha Washington stuff yet.

There are also 2 one shots (MW Stranded in Space and Happy Birthday MW), but I think the Happy Birthday one is one-half reprint.
