Please.
It'd be nice not to lose too much on it.
;)
Seriously, if we can get through all the back stock, not to mention the trade, that's the kind of stuff that may help us bring it back sometime in the future.

ditto. each arc is self contained so people can buy the trade/back issues and not really be affected by the cancelation. Help bring this book back!

We'll be sure to do that with the new Shadowline book, bud.
In the meantime, have you checked out Helios (#1-4 from Dakuwaka, moving to Speakeasy with #5, which just came out)?

Thanks, guys. I'm gonna try. :)
EmeraldGuy - the short was actually in WToT #5. Big change of pace from Small Gods. :)
Caramuru - thanks! It was a tough arc to write, but I think it came out well. Now I'm wondering whether it might not have been a better idea to start with this arc. Ah, well - we'll never know. :)
Guys - Shadowline isn't the book. Shadowline is Jim Valentino's line over at Image. Not many people seem to know this, but he originally published ShadowHawk under it, then let it slide while he was the publisher. Now he's bringing it back and I'm writing a new book for him there, along with the rest of the Small Gods team. And we'll be telling you all about it, I'm sure. Just not yet. ;)

Was wondering what you meant by Shadowline. That sounds cool.

It will be. I'm seeing some fantastic art on this new book, by Juan and the other members of the team. Ah...how sweet 'twill be. :D
CountD - what did you think? Now, be honest. I wasn't exactly going for high literature there, so I can take it. ;)

of Dead Man's Hand in Western Tales? ____ing awesome as usual.
2 more pages would've helped it. (more suspense) But hey you work with what you get, right?

I just got into the book after buying the special and then bought the trade. I wonder if you got any spike after the special was out and if somehow the book can be resurrected with another publisher?
J.R. Rand
10-11-2005, 09:07 AM
Well, the Special sold better than the regular series, but that didn't translate over.
We're not thinking about another publisher right now - we're moving onto other projects instead, with the hope that we might be able to bring the book back at some point in the future. That'd be nice. :)

I don't konw how appropriate this is, but would someone mind giving a brief snapshot of what this book is about? I have completely missed anything having to do with it. But all your reviews can't be wrong, right?
