He was an astral projection, and no, he didn't specify.

Your Mets will be good next year without #31 the human double play.
I look forward to the rivalry being renewed.

Good to hear. The world without a league story may end up being pretty cool. The covers are tremendous, at least. I'm really pulling for Scott Free and Barda to have an actual part in them too.
Were they in any of the preview?

Negative.
This was more of a precursor to the story. All set up.

I read it (B&W advance copy) at WW: Boston. The DC Booth had most of next month's books up.

I peeked at Titans 28. No text in that. Art still was meh.
Wait. If J'onn only appeared as an astral projection then maybe he is dead but his consciousness survived or something wacky like that.

Wait let me get this straight, 27 was out in August and 28 is out in October, does that mean that one of the worst comic artists took 2 months to draw one issue?

Some crazy looking guy spelled out THE JLA MADE ME DO IT in a bum's blood on the wall of a sewer.
Maybe Clive Yorkin?
Hard to tell w/out color.
Clark is away dealing with "his issues" (whatever that means) and Diana has left the League.

or more importantly, how the sensors made it seem like it was Superman?

Not even a slight hint.
Though, Batman has his suspicions. He's keeping them close to the vest.

So, let me get this straight...the JLA mindwipes Batman, and then they (well, Ollie) accuse him of detonating the Watchtower? Ugh!
Oh well, at least J'onn's not dead.

I can see that. If people hold him responsible for using Brother Eye to spy on his fellow heroes and losing control of brother eye which lead to the death of several metas than accusing Batman of detonating the watchtower isn't such a wide leap in logic.

Yeah, but there's a world of difference between consciously blowing up a satellite that your colleague's on and losing control of an uber-powerful/sentient spy satellite. :D
To me, it sounds like Bob Harras doesn't get Green Arrow. I could see Hawkman saying something like that, but not GA. Ollie's one of the few who feels guilty about wiping Batman's mind in the first place.
