DC's hardcover paper quality sucks
I thought the first issue was good. I'm glad it's going to be an ongoing series after the Crisis.

I thought it was awesome! I really liked the little intros to all the new GLs. I expect this is one of those books that will will have a lot of great little stories in it over the next year.

I thought it was great. I like how Kyle is revered by the Guardians as their savior. :D

I just picked it up last week and really liked it. I wasn't going to get it, but after reading all the good buzz about it, I caved in.:o
I like it a lot. Not only is it well written, but it's helping me to get an understanding for characters that I don't know much about.
Since I only started collecting DC back in January (yes, I'm a former Marvel zombie....admitting it is the first step...:p ), this is giving me insight into characters like Kilowog, Kyle Rayner and Guy Gardner....character who I haven't had much experience with.

LOVED this issue. Great use of Kyle, one of my faves, and actually, after reading this issue, Guy Gardner might be in my top 5 now too! Great book.

Good but not yet Great.
I liked Gibbons' and Johns' script but I am not a fan of Gleason's art, and didn't enjoy it in the first issue especially.

I thought it was a good start-I loved the whole resistance of Sominik Natu. Who was the dead GL she was looking at when she said " I'm...not...afraid"

Was'nt that the GL that was sucked into that black hole, in the beginning of the book?
There were some similarities, or maybe i'm seeing things.
Anyhoo, loved the book, Guy cracks me up...>,< How how!

As jazzed as I was about GL, GL Corps is so much better... I love it.

I loved this book! Now, I'm predominantly a Hal fan, but honestly, I didn't miss him at all in this book. The characterization is spot-on, it's got some great laughs and an impending sense of doom. Are we sure Joss Whedon's not writing it? I can't wait for the ongoing!

See, when the whole Hal-goes-mad-and-kills-the-Corps thing happened, it was less the loss of Hal that I was annoyed about, and more the loss of the Corps, which I always thought was by far the most interesting thing about the GL mythos.
As the years have gone by, I've come to really like Kyle as a character, and the fact that Hal has remained a bit of a tosser since coming back (no matter how brilliant a mini GL:Rebirth was, and it really was good) has meant that I quickly went off the GL ongoing.
So having a GL Corps book that has basically everyone BUT Hal in it... and is co-written by Sir Dave of Gibbons, no less - seems like everyone's a winner!

The 1st issue hooked me in...the writer and artist did their jobs well!

I like the regular GL book, but this one hit the ball waaaay out of the park.
Is it confirmed as a post-IC regular series? Is the creative team the same?

I have to admit that I was pretty disappointed by the start of the regular GL story. Issue #4 was ok, but if issue #5 isn't significantly better I'm going to drop it. This really bothered me, since I really like the IDEA of the Green Lantern (and I usually like Geoff John's work).
GLC: Recharge made me feel a lot better. THIS is the GL book I want! Is it really going to be an ongoing? That would make me feel a lot better about dropping the regular GL book.

I'm still behind with my comics, but I'm reading this first issue right now, but I had to stop at this exact scene, I can't read on when I'm shaking hysterically because of laughter.........damn that's funny. :D

It's gonna be a regular Corps book, though. I'd like to see it as big as Legion, with a back-up spotlighting one member other than the Earth characters.

It's so-so. The story is great but the art is subpar.

An excellent series so far!
I picked up this series as a lark but man am I loving it. The sci-fi is good and its great to see Kilowogg back in action... and as leader to boot. I think the art has been pretty good.. well suited to the story.... and I'm looking forward to next issue.

This book is great stuff.
Really enjoying it.
I just hope the ongoing will maintain the great character interaction once Johns is gone.
Issue 2 was cool. This is going to be a great ongoing series.
