Ask anyone who reads WAY OF THE RAT, and they'll tell you it's one funny book. How can it not be when it stars a talking monkey? But in the same breath, they might also tell you it's one of the best looking books on the stands. And how can it not be when penciler Jeff Johnson inker Tom Ryder and colorist Chris Garcia are working hand-in-hand to make it – as AintItCoolNews.com says -- "one of the best action movies on paper"?

Judge for yourself on July 9th when WAY OF THE RAT #15 leaps into your local comic shop. As you'll see in the following five preview pages, the citizens of Zhumar are learning that some spirits refuse to keep quiet! Especially when writer Chuck Dixon is giving them a voice!

Beautiful stuff. This series is one of the best Crossgen has to offer!

This is the only CrossGen book I currently collect (the only one I've ever bought on a monthly basis), and I can not say enough about how great a title it is.

It's also a very good book to hand off to people who don't currently read comics and get them interested.

Absolutely -- and don't think I haven't used this like the pied piper's flute to get all my friends and co-workers on the Comix Train. This and Y:The Last Man make more converts than Mormon missionaries!

Apologies to actual Mormons. :)

This is a great all around book. No weak points, IMO. The coloring is outstanding. One of the prettiest books on the shelves.
