AP Comics has announced that it will be offering two new covers for Monster Club #2 as well as a back five page back-up story from hot new find, Eduardo Francisco.

The two variant covers will be offered to retailers as initial/re-order incentives – and available whilst stocks last. The Skottie (Spider-man: Legend of the Spider-Clan) Young cover will ship as a 1:5 alternate with the Eduardo Francisco cover shipping as a 1:10 incentive.

Richard Emms, AP Comics' director says, "Monster Club #1 did extremely well for us". "In fact we were very surprised by how many copies were actually sold through Diamond, Bulldog and Cold Cut (distributors)". "Our aim, ultimately, is to provide great looking comics as well as announcing brand new talent that will be working with us on up and coming projects”. “Eduardo is an amazing artist and fans of Americanized Manga will love his style". "Mix Joe Mad with Adam Warren and that's Eduardo! – Simply breathtaking!!!”

"We're also really pleased to be working with Skottie Young again". "Skottie has agreed to do covers for Monster Club #2, 3, 4 and 5". "The cover he has masterly crafted for issue #2 is stunning - any comic fan will find it hard to turn it down!”

"Greg at Bulldog has really promoted Monster Club to all of his retailers that he supplies". "We can't thank him enough for his hard work", Emms commented. "Retailers can be assured that if they need re-orders at any time then Bulldog will have the issues in stock".

Monster Club #2 is guaranteed to ship in January 2003. Priced $3.50, 32 pages and Card stock cover!

i got my copy or issue one a few weeks ago and i was really impressed with it. Im looking forward to issue two and im glad its not that far away.

Skottie Young's variants look like becoming a regular thing for the title then?

Man so many companies could learn about getting books out on time let alone in advanced like these guys have.

Just read #1, came out yesterday in these parts. I really enjoyed it, Kit's art is really improving, his new style struck me as similar to Carlos Meglia from the samples I saw, after reading the book though I see some Jamie Hewlett in there too (good stuff)!

Any way, a good fun read with nice visuals (not just the art but the coloring as well). A good solid product, hopefully it gets noticed, it deserves to! Skottie's smashing covers should help there...

Keep 'em coming guys!
