The first is from a ten page story written by Alexandro Jodorowsky and illustrated by J.H. (Promethea) Williams. Entitled “Eucharist Sun,” the story follows a vampirologist as she travels to Romania in hopes of discovering the truth behind the vampire myths she’s been obsessed with since childhood, especially those concerning a vampire who sought to extinguish the sun.

The second preview is from the 12-page “Monster Police Department,” written by Jim Alexander, and illustrated by Pascal (Legion Lost) Alixe. As Humanoids describes the story: “In a city filled with ferocious creatures, who do you go to when you find your neighbor is really an evil, overgrown insect? The Monster Police Department, of course!”

The 48-page Metal Hurlant #3 is slated to be in stores December 18th.

I have been picking this up since #1 and look forward to each issue. I highly recommend it. It is an excellent anthology. Kurt Busiek wrote a story for #1 and Geoff Johns did one for #2.

I haven't checked out Metal Hurlant yet, but plan on picking up this issue. I have been getting The Metabarons for the last couple of years. Good sci-fi. I can't wait for the Dreamshifters graphic album.

Wasn't something by Travis Charest supposed to be coming out from Humanoids Publishing? Does anyone know what and when that might be?

For those of you who haven't picked up on Metal Hurlant, I strongly recommend it. It is a thoroughly good read with top notch artwork. Not to mention, the production values are of the utmost quality-- the paper stock is slick and heavy, with about 48 pages in each issue for a meazly $3.95 an issue. Can't beat that!

I believe that is METABARONS: ALPHA OMEGA, which came out (or was supposed to, at least) yesterday.

Well, this is weird. I clicked on the picture of Captain America and it brought me here.

Yeah. Weird isn't it. Someone got their code mixed up. For the Cap story, go <a href="http://www.newsarama.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=000101" target="_blank">here</a>.
