In addition to the meaty art preview and interview he gave last week for his and Geoff Johns’ forthcoming The Possessed, Liam Sharpe sent Newsarama three more pages from The Possessed #2 to showcase what the book will look like.

The dealers better order this book heavily! This looks like it'll kick ass! This looks to have all the potential of being the best mini-seies of the year. Liam Sharpe definitely has not disappointed...!

really beautiful...
liam seems to have really refined his art since I last saw his work, definitely a hint of Darrow and a dash of Kaluta in there.

if the writing is only half as good as the art then I sure we're still in for a treat, although from reading the outline for the series and knowing how good Geoff Johns is anyway looks like I'm adding another Wildstorm title to my list. Well done Wildstorm!

I can already see the movie deal in the works, with Johns scripting and perhaps directing. But that said, it does look great. I can't wait.

Geoff and Kris are definitely making me work for my money! I'm trying to pull out all the stops on this one, but not put all my eggs in one basket. I'm trying to balance some intensely detailed and intricate work with some clear and solid storytelling. Not have one at the expense of the other.
I'm also trying to avoid it looking like a standard team book. I want it to be cool and accessible, but also to have a dark, slightly twisted edge. Basically expect the unexpected...
Having a lot of fun, but believe me, it's damn hard work!
David Baron is doing some really great color work on the book also.

See you in July!
