On the Image messageboards, Heirs writer Jae Torres posted the following:
Heirs of Eternity is in need of a colorist FAST. Please email jingzenpencil@yahoo.com if you are serious. Please send one sample of a page containing:
background
characters
special FX (ex..motion blur, lighting, atmospheric persp, focus etc)
This does not necessarily need to be a professional comic book page or anything from the "industry"...i am looking specifically for strengths in certain areas. The Heirs of Eternity style is sort of a cross between anime and western art. It requires unsaturated and dark colors and almost realistic moods.
You will be FTPing files to Image, if not possible, then CD is fine.
You need to be able to do min 1 page/day.
The deadline for the next issue is May 23!!! That’s 22 pages between now and the 23 of may.
Your work will be published by Image Comics and you WILL BE PAID. However, pay may not be immediate, but definite.
Lastly you must send proofs to me (for corrections if necessary) before submitting to Image.
