By Bob Burden
Published by Image Comics and Desperado Comics.
Its been many many years since the last issue (#32) which was published by Dark Horse Comics. But this comic hasn't lost a step, actually its gotten better in that it went back to the more absurd and dementedness of early issues. The humor is offbeat, but right up my alley. For instance Flaming Carrot 'accidentally" kills a rampaging villian with his baloney gun by shooting the villian full of baloney. I guess you have to read it to get it. I love this comic though, I love its golden age era look and feel. Bob Burden may not be the best artist out there, but his quirky style just fits this style of comics.
It was my best comic buy this month so far. I totally recommend it to those who like weird and surreal literature and art.
