I'm all for it. It's not that big of a deal, and there is nothing wrong with flashy when done right.

Speaking of which, I've been using the name Mundungus since 2003 (when Order of the Phoenix came out). Though I had no interest in the character and am only a fan of the books themselves and not much else (that being said, my girlfriend is a huge Harry Potter fan), I've used the name repeatedly across the internet since then out of tradition.

I guess I'd feel strange not using it on the new board, just because returning members would know who I am off the bat (not that I'm vocally present on anyone's radar most of the time).
