Call me crazy, and you would not be the first, but I swear that Image is at the top of it's game right now with all of the amazing books out there. Everyone always focuses on the BIG TWO but right now it is hard to question what Image is putting out there. What Image books are you reading now? It seems like there are so many to choose from across the board.

I've been a really big fan of Top Cow and their universe ever since the beginning and I get almost everything that put out (with the exception of every single variant cover they release). And Image central is on the top of their game. Currently buying:
Astounding Wolf-Man
The Darkness
Dynamo 5
Invincible
Madame Mirage
Witchblade
Upcoming
Broken Trinity
Firebreather

What saddens you? The number of issues released in a year or the qaulity of the book?

The drop off in quality. This used to be one of my favorite books. It's just tired now. Too silly, not an even match of humour and danger like in the old days. Definitely, needs more "Oh @#^%$#" moments!

Definitely, it was an amazing comic cut in the prime of it's life. But hey, I've made my peace with it's ending.

I just recently started picking it up again and felt that it was not quite what it use to be... but I am going to give it some time.

Image is currently the 3rd largest pull list that I have: DC 1st, Marvel 2nd. They have really been putting out some good stuff. Below are the current ones that I am getting with a few future titles.
Youngblood: will be dropping soon
Shark-Man: still waiting for issue two...if not coming soon will drop
Pax Romana: great, great stuff
Dynamo 5: just solidly good all around
Spawn: haven't missed an issue since it started and won't
Wolf-Man: I like this book but the schedule it keeps is frustrating...will drop if this new monthly gig isn't consistant
Mice Templar: loving it...not as good as Mouseguard...but still good
Proof: IMO, the best new book on the market - bar none!!!
Invincible: I only get this in trades and am really enjoying it...when I catch up I will begin to collect single issues....
Gemini: coming soon
Death Grub: coming soon
Red Mass For Mars:coming soon
War Heroes: coming soon

Maybe some day I'll be up there with the Dragon. I don't even have all the Spawn issues. There's still many I've never read. :(

Yeah, it's an X-book. It started off as a detective noir book but now it's more superheroey but one of my absolute favorite books. It's currently the only Marvel book I'm reading. And it's written by the awesomeness that is Peter David.

I read X-Factor about 15 years ago, but the team was so bizarre back then it was almost a joke unto itself (Havok, Polaris, Maddox, and Guido are the only ones I can remember from back them).
What the heck does X-Factor have to do with "What's Your Image?" - get your butts to the Marvel forum :D now if you want to tell me how great Screamland is then go ahead and start talking.

Fair enough, Bossman Brik! :D (Oooh...that gives me an idea for a character....)
Screamland is awesomesauce combined with honey. When I was waiting for Larsen to come and start signing and sketching, the Screamland team was there finishing up. I wasn't going to buy any more stuff, I only had 6 dollars left but I took a look through their issues and decided to buy the first one. The artist even drew me a quick Joker pic even though I couldn't pay for it. When I got on the train, boy was I in bliss reading Screamland. The book is about Frankenstein who is in fact real and is an actor. He was getting jobs left and right during the old monster era but now he's an has-been and can't get a respectable job as an actor. But his agent has finally found him something but he now has to meet up with his old buddies from back in the day, such as Dracula, the Mummy, and Wolf-man. It was such a fun read and the art was lovely. I really wish I spent my last 3 dollars for the second issue. I have to track it down eventually. Maybe I'll try to interview the creators at some point, maybe when the trade is gonna come out.

I actually thought about checking out Screamland - nice overview. I also have considered Casanova - I read the first free issue on ImageComics.com and it looked good. I keep hearing good things....

Really nice, Brik! I love how each sig is different from the others, yet it's still the same awesome catchphrase!
BTW, don't forget to contribute to the Indy Villains Thread! :)
I picked up the first issue of Casanova and each page had me more lost. It was interesting and I did want to check out the other issues afterwards, but I was already picking up far too many books at the time and I'm a cheap mofo.
Darn it, I've got class soon. Be back later!

Almost anything that comes out of Shadowline. Loved Death Dealer and will probably get the other upcoming Frazetta books. I'll probably try out Firebreather when that comes out. That list looks kinda small but I guess it's because all my other Image titles are mini-series and I didn't bother to list those.
