Someone not accounted for (at least definitely not shown as being killed) in Death of the New Gods, or issues relating to it is the supposed evil brother of Mr. Miracle who was working for Grundy in the Tornado's Path in JLofA. He hasn't been seen since that arc(although he was mentioned in the Lightning Saga as having done something to Dream Girl before her Arkham imprisonment, I think), and while I suppose his New Godhood is up for debate, it's not really been disavowed, has it?

Meltzer just walked on to JLA. set up a dozen threads and left.

As near as I can tell from various interviews there was no editorial mandate to pick up any of it. John's picked up several of them Including the Despero/Degaton/Ultra-Humaite thing and ran with them in Booster Gold and JSA.. but I don't get the impression Morrison is doing anything with it.
