Say the first half is Manhunter and the 2nd half is Aquaman. And have combined stories sometimes.

maybe, maybe not,

I like the martian manhunter, not so much aquaman, unless johns writes him:D

if johns writes him, theres a superman prime vs. aquaman story in there

Eh, I said I'd rather have separate series, but a combined book wouldn't be a bad idea...as long as it was half/half, not a team-up book. Pretty recent history shows neither of them have much success at maintaining a solo book.

I'm for bringing back back-up stories.

I like both characters, so I'd certainly take a look at it.

Like a lot of these "would you buy...." threads, I find the creative team and the direction are as important as the character.

I was gonna give creators but, I dont know any Martian Manhunter teams.

Doesn't have to be a previous team.

Who do you think could do a good job on a MM book?

Even more than worrying about the creative team, MM needs to have a point and a direction.

I like them both, so yes.

I would rather see a MM/Plastic Man teamup book, quite frankly!

Thank you very much, kind sir! ;)

The idea is not exactly without a precedent. Here's what provided the 'inspiration':

I'd rather solos for both of them. (And I'd gladly write them if I had to.)

That's my thoughts too except BillReed has the storytelling talent of a monkey with Parkinson's so I'll gladly write both solos for DC. :p

It's nice to see people willing to take a hit for the team.

With a solid creative team, definately.

I said yes, but it would depend on the creative team. MM is my favorite still-living DC character, but even I passed on that horrid mini-series with the conehead. I gave it one issue, and hated it.

A dual book could be fun. The current Martian Manhunter costume with the Sub Diego waterhand Aquaman would be my preference.

But then we'd miss out on the huge crossover in issue 7 where VULTURE attacks OGRE and Arthur and J'onn are caught in the middle.

Okay, howabout this? You do Martian Manhunter, I'll do Aquaman, and then we both do Aquaman/ Martian Manhunter with me writing J'onn and you writing Orin. Brilliant!!

No.

Not a fan of either character.

If it has J'onn I'll buy it. But I'd MUCH rather have a Martian Manhunter solo book.

Sorry but neither character does it for me in a solo ongoing.

I might consider a mini of MM, but thats it.

Yes, if I liked the creative teams. These are two of my favorite DC heroes at this point.
