Hiya...please forgive me if this has been addressed in the message boards already, but I almost never make my way into the DC Threads. I was wondering if anyone knows if Y: The Last Man might be collected in its entirety once the final issue ships. I've read them all from the beginning, but in single-issue form, borrowed from a friend. I love the series so much I want to buy it so I can share it with others, but if there is going to be a complete collection down the road, I'd rather wait for that.

Anyhoo...thanks in advance for helping a marvel-ite out.

Oh...and if anyone knows when ALL-STAR Batman and Robin will see TPB print, I'm curious about that as well.

Peas.

Just wondered if there would be a special collection...not an omnibus, necessarily, but maybe a hardcover collection or whatever...

Thanks for weighing in. Would just kick myself if I started buying the trades and then they release a hardcover collection...

Maybe they'll do what they're doing with Starman and do some hardcovers, or perhaps even absolutes, but that won't be for years. We're only just getting Sandman Absolutes now, and that series finished over 10 years ago.

This is true but the Absolutes have only been around a few years. I think this will be fast tracked for Absolutes within a year or two. I'm sure there's others besides me awaiting those before buying the collections. I'd expect 3 Absolutes that will go for around $60 - $ 65 per on Amazon that will be totally worth it.

According to Bob Wayne, the probability of getting an Absolute Y is very good. But it will probably be a year or so.

Also, I would imagine that after that first year or so, they'll do the same thing with this that they did with the Sandman books--do one every 8-12 months to drag some extra life out of it.
