I've been enjoying the various discussions, and I'm glad to see that Spidey has such enthusiastic fans, but I haven't accomplished one of my primary goals, to find out if there were any errors in the book!

So like it says in the headline, be brutal. Tell me what you like...and dislike...about the book. The title has been the subject of some controversy, but there are thousands of bits of information in the book, woven together in (I hope) a fun an entertaining way. Is any of it wrong? Or did I leave out anything important?

If you have something to add, please do so! For example, there's the long-standing rumor that it was Morgan Freeman in the Spider-Man costume on The Electric Company. Does anyone have anything that supports the theory?

Does anyone have photos of their own Spider-Man collectibles? There are people out there who have designed their living space around the web-spinner, and I'm dying to see the results.

Finally, spread the word. Let's pull hundreds of Spider-fans into the discussion.

I'll second that. Sy was a huge help as we put together the visuals for this book. And I spent hours just staring at the wonderful stuff he has on his site. There are a couple of those early toys I'm dying to find.

In all seriousness though,I don't have the book -- and it doesn't seem like a lot of people on this board have it yet. You'll probably get a better idea in a few weeks as more excerpts are posted and more people buy the book.

That actually surprises me. Then again, it could be because people are really receptive of what you're doing with the book! Take it as a compliment! :)
