Both are post Sinestro Corps (Kyle is in his new costume in Countdown, and both John and Hal aren't involved in the war in JLA, so its likely post-War), so its doultful.

so we are not getting any Sinestro Corp tie-ins in countdown? that seems lazy.
I thought Countdown is suppose to be the spine of DC, Corps War is a pretty big
deal right?

The whole corps war thing happens all together, so the time the war took place has already passed, we are just getting issues still since it is so much content for so little time.

Countdown needs all of its own pages for itself to put all its stories in. Maybe they just don't want to blemish the Sinestro Corps crossover with Countdown.
And with the story supposed to speed up now, they need those pages even more. Putting bits of other stories in it will just... destroy more momentum. People are complaining about the incompleteness of the stories in it as it is. In any case, maybe the problem is the Corps War happening slightly in the past. They delayed Kyle and the other GLs appearing and they still had to include Kyle in the story, still spoiling some of the ending.
But when they did the wedding, they didn't hold the wedding in the JLA satellite. They don't seem to mention though, that New York and the Statue of Liberty was destroyed though, but they don't mention Washington.
At this point, maybe they're thinking "Why make things worse?"
