1) Why is Sinestro there when he's doing his whole war thing over in GL and GL:Corps? You think he'd be too busy leading his own supervillain team to come to earth and be led around by Lex Luthor....

2) Whi is Granny Goodness there? Shouldnt she be on Apocalypse doing Darkseid's biding? I was under the impression that the apocalypse villains didnt really play with earth villains since theyre, you know, trying to take over the world?

otherwise think this looks great. Loved those JLU episodes. Hope that some of the Grodd/Luthor antagonistic relationship carries pver to this arc.

I think everyone being there is more a case of Showing Us Options and Possibilities over Realities of the Team. Like Benes' double-spread JLA 1 cover, when only 7 of them ended up on the team.

Given the fact that they all somehow end up exiled on another planet a few months later in the pages of Salvation Run, I'd say the JLA opens up a can of whoop-ass on Lex and crew in the end. They become fed up with their antics and ship 'em off-world.

There was a preview were Lex is beating the crap out of Supes, Bats and wonders, I can't remember what hes says exactly but it's something like "he was my son!" and he's not wearing a battlesuit either. I think it might have been in JLA #0. Could that be related to the upcoming McDuffie's arc??

IMO - Allstar Lex is a much better version of the character than the one in New Earth, writers should take there cue from what Morrison's doing with him on that book.
