I just read the first 5 issues of this series last night. The current story started out a little slow, but got much better as the story progressed. The twist involving the casino owner was pretty cool too.

Darwyn Cooke impressed me once again with this story. And Tim Sale..........well.....it's Tim Sale. The guy's just plain awesome. I cannot wait for the conclusion to this story.

Anybody else enjoying this one?

And does anyone know who's doing the next story?

Yup, this is giving ASS a run for its money lately, though the story is moving.... pretty.... slowly....

And the next story arc is a two-parter by Jimmy Palmiotti and someone else about Supes fighting an alien chick. Meh.

DC's really doing a great job with Superman with All-Star and Confidential and Geoff Johns' stuff on Action Comics. Great time to be a Superman fan, IMO. But the lateness and delays are annoying.

I think I may skip the next arc, if that's the case. I'll give the first issue a flip-through in the store, but that doesn't sound very promising.

I've enjoyed the first arc. Tim Sale has been especially good with his character designs on this one.

Of course I'm enjoying this. You can't lose with Darwyn Cooke and Tim Sale working together.

Did I miss the conclusion to the first arc? SC #6 was supposed to come out July 25, but I never saw it. Anybody know if it was moved to another date?

Palmiotti and Justin Gray (his regular writing partner); art by Koi Turnbull.

He's not fighting an alien chick; it's a Lori Lemaris story (in previous continuity, she was his college girlfriend who turned out to be a mermaid; she's obviously still a mermaid but I don't know if they're keeping the college girlfriend angle).

Yeah, doesn't really interest me at all. Seems like the kind of filler arc one would expect before another pretty major arc, though to my knowledge they still haven't announced the next team, have they?
