Wow,

just wow,

with 100 bullets and y the last man, and ex-machina well into their peaks and ending in a few years, 100 bullets when it reaches 100 issues and y the last man soon, and ex-machina's conclusion will be issue 50.

I thought their wouldnt be a series that was worthy that would follow all the above mentioned titles.

Scalped: has all the incredients to become a classic ongoing.

Plenty of interesting characters to invest in, and the last page shockers on each issue get better,

it's excellent

The first trade paperback is called SCALPED VOL. 1: INDIAN COUNTRY.

it's
Funny
violent
serious
political

lots of shady characters and bad guys galore.

and it's all set in an indian reservation call the rez.

I seriously recommend this Trade paperback to you all.

enjoy.

I was actually just at my store picking up Metal Men and came so close to getting the first trade of Scalped because I like Jason Aaron's writing. His mini "Otherside" was really really intense in a good way. My best friend has read Scalped though since day one and keeps trying to get me to read it but I just haven't had the extra funds yet. I also am now basically stuck with picking up vertigo/ marvel series in trade because of budget. But since I cam home and see this recommendation, I will take it as a sign and pick it up. ANd for you, read Otherside if you haven't.

I'm in need of something to read on a plane ride this weekend, I might pop by the shop and pick this one up because I keep hearing how great it is.

Missed the issues as they were coming out. Happened with The Other Side as well.

well *simply* pick it up, it's nice and salty!!!

no, jokes aside,

This comic impressed me, and not many new vertigo stuff has lately.

here's a excerp from the comic by the bad guy in it- "one thing i havnt forgotting, is i can still cut someones ____ing scalp off""

This comic is down and dirty and plain nasty:)
