View Full Version : So, The Second Hardcover...

Does anyone know when this is coming out? It's been pushed back so many times, and now it's just dropped off the schedules completely.

I am, however, really eager to carry on reading Powers, following my picking up of the first HC, and I'll admit, the TPB's are really tempting. And to top that, I don't see much of an incentive to wait for the second HC, beyond the increased size and the fact that everything's presented in chronological order (i.e - The Ellis issue) - But a negative of the HC's is that the binding means you can't see the entirety of the pages, at times.

So, should I wait for the second hardcover collection, or, should I trade in my HC of the first volume, and go and pick up the TPBs?

The 2nd HC was cancelled and is currently waiting to be re-solicited.

A little while ago, it popped up on Chapters as 3-5 weeks delivery instead of the usual Not Available" and Mike Oeming told me in a PM That it was finally on the way. Guess it hit a snag or something, but I can't wait for it!

So you guys think I should just wait for the second HC, huh? I admit, I'm as impatient as a ten year old, but I know some of you will have read the stories before buying the HC - I haven't, though, and it's a damn good series.

Glad to hear it's on the way, anyhow. It'll be another 20 pounds well spent...

Coming in December, meaning that I'll be picking it up in January. Lovely, lovely Student loan money.

And I don't know if I'm reading it right, but are we essentially getting trades 3, 4, and 5, plus extras?

If the book gets canceled a second time, I'm not re-ordering it.

I heard Bendis on the Word Ballon Podcast say it was being worked on now. I have really been waiting for this book since I got Volume 1 when it came out. If anybody hears anything about a new shipping date please post it here. Thanks.

It is past March 28th and I still don't have my second hardcover. Will this thing ever come out or should I just go ahead and pick up single issues/trades?

Now it's scheduled for May 28th, but I'll believe it when I see it.
