this was agreat issue and a great resolution to this storyline. excluding cap lives this has been the best arc in this book. it was a political story but didn't feel like one, it felt like a captain america comic book. i especially liked the subplot with cap's new girlfriend. although, i have one question with diamondback coming back and the hints in priest's book of romance with the scarlet witch isn't cap going to be alittle busy to fight crime.

With respect i disagree with you. I thought this arch was bad just plain bad. The story is lame imo and the art work is some of the worst i have seen in a long time. But then i have never liked the whole real life and comics mesh. i prefer cap to be in the marvel universe and not in the "real" universe.
As far as Caps love life his girlfriend in this arc and story line will have nothing to do with the other since cap is going to be leaving the Marvel Knights world. And what happens in that world will not effect what is in the Marvel Universe proper. so depending on the timing of the MK split i think he will be with Scarlet Witch.
I have even heard he will be replaced in the MK world with another Cap while Steve Rogers becomes President.

well, I'll chime in rather belatedly.
I really enjoyed this arc. Since the Cap Lives issues, this series has been getting better. I was on the verge of dropping it all together before then.
The humor was great, "Are you a strong swimmer?" priceless. The girlfriend was a real nice touch -- really brought home the point that Steve Rogers is just trying to be a normal guy when he's not doing his Cap stuff.
I can see the possibility of Cap becoming the President. He was intro'd to the world of politics by that Senator guy.
It does seem like this continuity of Cap is going to be thrown all to hell though in the coming months.
I am looking forward to Kirkman's issues though. Does anyone know who the regular writer of the series is going to be after Kirkman?

I agree with temujinkahn; this story arc (20 to 25) was just awful. It showed some promise at the start, especially since I am a big Bachalo fan. When it started getting all unrealistic I started to roll my eyes. I mean Fidel Castro in a SHIELD hovership?
Even the inking in this issue was horrible. And Cap as VP? This was just one of the worst endings to a storyline that could have been so meaningful and relevant.
