Writer: Robert Kirkman

Artist: Ryan Ottley

This issue, Mark (Invincible) fights to save Mount Rushmore, Mark's Dad Omni-Man picks up nearly all of the slack for the new Gardians of the Globe, detectives continue to search for clues to who killed the original Guardians of the Globe, and one of the Guardians come back from the dead to attack his killer.

Man oh man, Kirkman sure can write them. Invincible has this light hearted flare, but can suddenly just twist to the dark. The story he is weaving is fantasmical, can't wait for more, the lead up to issue 12 is really building. Ryan Ottley (Wya) has really got a style that fits this book, taking over for Cory Walker he's done an amazing job making this book his own.

A+: This series is amazing, this issue was fantastic. Buy the trades, the 2nd Volume came out this week too.

I love how "Rosarach" (sp) made an apperance in the comic. Funny stuff.

Good issue. A

This series surprised me early on, at first I thought it was kinda corny fluff, but then he started to pull out a bigger plot out of all the little single issue stories while still keeping indivual issues somewhat self contained. Plus the story took a darker twist, which was nice to see to counter that light feeling it has. Makes a nice contrast.

Don't just buy the trades.
BUY THE MONTHLIES! That's what keeps the book in print.
