Writer: Bill Willingham
Artists: Mark Buckingham and Steve Leialoha
This issue things get bad, Baba Yaga's Chicken Leg House is going crazy up on the Fable Farm, Blue Boy cracks after 5 days of torcher, Red and Wood Brother make the Adversary's demands clear to the residents of Fabletown, and Bigby's makes a startling discovery at the Northern Gate to the Fable Lands.
Great issue, great series things are become clearer, slow and steady, a few of my suspistions appear to come true at the end of the issue, and the clues are there that I think I know who Red Riding hood REALLY is. Fables is one of the best series on the stands, everyone should read it.
A+: This series will be reread by me for years to come.

This was another great issue in a great series. I felt stupid that I didn't realize who the wooden soldiers were. It seemed so obvious when they explained it. Duh. Can't wait for the next issue when we hopefully find out who Red Riding Hood really is.

I felt the same way, especially seeing that they have the exact same facial features as Pinnochio. For a second there I was thinking that Geppetto may actually be the Advesary, but I guess it's more likely that he's just a slave. Great issue, love this series.

I haven't pick this book for a while. I take it they still haven't reveal the identity of the Adversary? Any guesses who it might be?

So is 'Red Riding Hood' really Baba Yaga?
I have a feeling Gepetto is working for the adversary from his own free will, but I don't know who the adversary is. Any ideas?
At first I thought it might be Tolkien literature, or something like that, but I doubt it.
When are they going to show Narnia people show up (They were mentioned as 'the land of the lion') or Eastern Fables. . .

Only those Fables who are in the Public Domain will probibly ever appear in Fables. Peter Pan, Narnia, Middle Earth, Discworld..... non of those are public domain, their all copy righted. OZ, Wonderland, they're Public Domain so we might see them at some point. The Lion mensioned at Rememberance Day has been stated by Willingham as not being Azlon from Narnia.
My advisary prediction? The Blue Faerie from Pinnochio.

No, the identity of the Adversary wasn't revealed in 25 (see my review of the issue in this forum). I tried to keep my review relatively spoiler-free, but I do have a theory as to who the Adversary might be -- and no, I'm not tellin'.
