What is your favorite recent "event" (i.e. Crisis or Civil War)? What is your favorite "event" of all time?

I've never been a huge fan of event comics. I feel like they always fall short of expectations.

I enjoyed Zero Hour at the time, but I feel like I was young and ignorant and didn't know the consequences of the word "Crisis" being in the title.

Favorite recent event? The upcoming release of Jack Kirby's Fourth World in harcover Omnibii.

Favorite event of all time? Kingdom Come

I liked Zero Hour. Loved the Eclipso annuals. DC One Million was fun. Underworld Unleashed was well done. If Panic in the Sky counts, that was a great one.

Last Laugh, Genesis, Cataclysm, No Man's Land, and Contagion? Not so good.

I loved Infinite Crisis, personally. Between this, Identity and Green Lantern Rebirth, my love of comics was rekindled. So I guess I'd say those.

TOP Favorite: No Man's Land

Least: Kingdom Come (Even more than War Games)

I enjoyed No man's land the most(and I´m not refering to the adult video series, by the way;) ) but I had trouble comparing the first "we dont have bullets" with the later part of it in which every one there has tons of guns. Even the joker was killing in a simple way whn he arrived, and he ended shooting :mad:

civil war, it pushed for more charcter driven event rather then end of the world kind of thing.

identity crisis was the best though for same reason

Favorite: Crisis on Infinite Earths. A classic is always a classic.

Second favorite: Superman 1,000,000. Can't beat that concept.


Least favorite: Genesis. Couldn't even read past the first issue.

Second least favorite: Kingdom Come. Superheroes don't whine.
