<a href="http://www.newsarama.com/dynamitenew/Mvl_AoD/041/MZ_Darkness.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.newsarama.com/dynamitenew/Mvl_AoD/041/MZ_Darkness_t.jpg" border="0" align="right"></a>Dynamite and Marvel have confirmed for Newsarama that the fourth issue of <b>Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness #4</b> will feature both <b>AoD</b> and <b>Zombie</b> alums pitching in on the issue’s art chores.

Both Sean Phillips and Fernando Blanco will join Fabiano Neves in June’s issue #4 of the five issue miniseries, and we’ve got your first look at the art.

“Fans are getting the Triple Crown winner of artists with these last two issues of <b>Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness</b>,” a Dynamite representative stated. “Teaming up Sean Phillips and Fernando Blanco with Fabiano Neves for the big climax is like… well, it’s like having the Marvel Zombies and Ash in the same series! Sean’s pencils certainly know their way around the brutal world of Marvel Zombies, and AOD fans went crazy for Fernando’s work on the final issues of AOD (and the final days of Ash), so to have them both work on Ash’s afterlife adventures is simply ‘Dynamite’! Of course, regular series artist Fabiano Neves and writer John Layman will continue their incredible work on Earth-2149, keeping <b>Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness</b> the been pure brain-craving, chainsaw-slashing action and excitement that it has been from the very beginning."

The first three issues of the miniseries, as well as <b>Army of Darkness #13</b>, where Ash made his journey to the Marvel Zombies earth have all sold out.

OMG, if that isn't funny...

This series just keeps getting better and better plus with Dead Days ... Sigh, the whole Marvel Zombies idea creeps me out but I just love it so much!

I want to see more of how certain characters became Zombies! And how does Zombie Ghost Rider work? Did Rick Jones become a Zombie or is he trapped in the Negative Zone? Will we see Zombies vs The Army of Darkness soon? Lead by Marvel Zombie Ash? ^_^

Yeah I think in issue 5. Check out the solicitations, for the month issue 5 should come out.

I have enjoyed this series and the NextWave cameo was most welcome. I really expected to hate it but it has honestly made me laugh.

On a related note, I thought the art in the new Kirkman Marvel Zombies one-shot was just atrocious....

I can't tell without dialogue, but it looks like Enchantress was using magic to disguise the fact she was zombified. Nice art.

A little disappointed with the art chores being split-up, since I love Fabiano's pencils. I would have happily waited for him to completely do #4 & 5. Ah well. It looks ok.

I am drawing a blank on the cover... What is the homage? I assume an Avengers Issue or Cap maybe...We need to have some covers that make fum of the worst ideas of the 90's. Could you see a foil prism Zombie cover or a special polybagged version of Zombie X-Force 1 that coud contain Zombie Cards?

The X-Force idea is fantastic. Polybag them with zombie cards that mock the old X-Force. Though I think polybagged comics were the worst of the gimmicks back in the day, they could probably find a way to keep it from getting out of control, possibly just include all 5 or whatever cards with each so that none of them are different and thus, no reason to buy multiple copies.

Damn, that's another fantastic idea! Something in the vein of Ultimate Alliance would be perfect. I'm sure there's enough unzombified characters to fill a 16-20 man roster.

That has got to be the coolest thing I have seen in a comic in a LONG time! How in the world does he end up getting Doom's armor?? I don't care for the whole zombie thing, but that made my day!

I'm becoming weary of this.. I don't want these zombies infiltrating the regular Marvel U.. the portrayal as an unstoppable virus is infuriating.. :mad:

this series is soooooooo great. you get that feel of ash from the movies as well as in his solo series. there has been times i have laughed out loud at the dilogue. i look forward to this series every mouth........give me some sugar baby

And I don't think they're about to kiss, I think it's a "look at this idiot, who thinks Enchantress isn't zombified" look-at-each-other.

He probably stole it off a Doombot. It's been done at least once before (by SIlver Sable when I read last)

Forget that...I WANT to be the Zombie. First part of the game is running from and trying to find the solution for the zombie, second part is BEING the Zombie. I think it would be great, and the Multiplayer would be so much fun!

I'm still confused on how the Vision wound up being a zombie.

Seeing as he's, you know, not organic.

Unless he was just a guy in a costume in this universe, which is certainly possible.

Speaking of robotics, a cameo from Deathlok would've been nice.
