It did strike me as a pretty un-Deena reaction. I can see her yelling like hell at him, but running away like a scared little girl? no way. Also, I always forget that Walker has a g/f until he mentions her in passing every other issue. Bendis needs t stick her in the background at least so we get the sense that he's involved.

But still, her having powers is a way bigger deal than Walker having powers. The guy's been powered since he was a monkey and she points a gun at him? I don't get it

I dunno man, I think she just pointed a gun at him at first because she didn't recognize him, and then kept it trailed on him out of sheer shock.

Yeah....she was going into a pretty dangerous situation, so she had her gub drawn. When someone started crawling from the wreckage, she trained her gun on him. Then she saw it was Walker and realized he obviously has powers again....and she bugged out.

She has been struggling with being honest with him about having powers of her own....so to see him with powers, it messed with her on many levels. Totally made sense to me.

think about it this way, Walker has had powers almost all his life, and it took him thousands upon thousands of years to decide what to do with them, keep in mind that as Gora he was a warlord. now consider that except for maybe Triphammer, most of the greater superheroes were alive for a long, long time as well, (Retrogirl gets ressurected constantly, Zora and Supershock were at the temple in china with Walker.) and even Supershock's mind was crushed under the weight of his own power. my point is, all these people with powers, when they're given thier powers, it takes one action, one choice to become a hero or a villian, it may not even be a concious choice, could just be a series of impulses and events out of thier control. so maybe Deena's a villian.

or hey, maybe she was just freaked the hell out after she got killed then reborn by a Godlike madman, assaulted by a sadistic supervillian then stabbed in the back by her ex? hell, i'd be a little on edge. :-/
