Has it's own sub-forum?

Are they just handing these things out now?

I call for a British sub forum, seeing as we are all on a different time scale, and need tea and crumpet break on the hour

all the dailies have their own forum.

Why not just one all incompassing "Dailies Forum" instead of three sections people check monthly?

Agreed. This is kind of clumsy just now...

WOW! I never really looked at this book at my local shop, but they really don't have much going for them in the art. It looks like the colorist tried to hide a lot of the empty space and fix up some of the really bad figures. It's fun to look at for free, but I wouldn't buy it. Did the person that drew this one do all the rest of the books?

you're kidding right? The art for the first mini was the best! I think there have been a different artist for each one.

The art on the latest series was awful.

The art on the latest series was awful.

Sam Hart takes over art duties on Damaged Justice issues #3 and #4, coming out in the next couple of weeks. Shanth Enjeti only drew issues #1 and #2.

And check out ATR this week for a sneak at his newer style for the troopers...

I'd completely forgotten that the site was posting dailies. Time for some "bored at work" reading!

I have no idea why this has its own forum either.

I tried to like the book, but I just couldn't get past the terrible art. There are no backgrounds, the actual drawings are clumsy, and it's obvious the artist is avoiding as much as possible drawing any tech or bugs.

Starship Troopers without any bugs, that's like X-Men without mutants.

anyone picking up the ongoing? what's it like?

Sorry you didn't like it, but it sounds like you've come more from the movie than the book, which barely mentions the bugs.

And there are a lot of bugs in the story, if you give it a try - you have to remember that we were keeping faithful to the novel rather than franchise, so a build up was requested rather than bug bang bug boom bug etc.

I suggest if you haven't read the book, give it a try. It's a brilliant read!

The first four were released earlier this year, and a month or so ago we took a break until the end of the year to ensure the new creative team had a few issues under their belt.

Having seen the story AND the art, it's going to be amazing.

Tony,

When does the next TPB come out? I got the first one and have been waiting patiently for the second.

Actually, book two, Starship Troopers - Dead Man's Hand is already out. I'll prod the web guru to update the link, but you can buy it direct from Markosia, or get your comic store to order it from Diamond...
