Since there are two different characters every issue... or do they all continue to one big arc, just going to different perspectives?

And is it worth it? Good for noobs?

THANKS!

Its the best way to get accquainted with the DCU. Its a team up each issue, and the stories are six issue arcs that travel accross the DCU. It may be two different characters each issue, but it ties into the overall arc. Its very noob friendly and I think you'll like it very much. It got me to like Hal Jordan more than I thought I would.

The first issue is out, and the second comes out this week. I think you'll like it.

Hows the art? And uh, how will they wrap it up with the type of approach? Do same characters appear eventually within the arc? Like Batman in #1 then he comes back in #5?

And will we see villains and villains? Cuz honestly heroes and heroes team up Im kinda bored with...

Dont read further if you dont wanna be spoiled with teamups...

Well the first issue had Batman and Green Lantern....Issue 2 has Green Lantern and Supergirl..., 3 has Batman and Blue Beetle, 4 has Supergirl and Lobo

Now after the first issue we had Green Lantern chasing someone...so I think on his chase he meet Supergirl....then in issue 3 Batman continues his work on the ground with the help of Blue Beetle...then in issue 4 we get Supergirl and Lobo, after presumably Supergirl leaves Hal to do something else....

If it moves organically like that.....I love it.

After whats solicited I have no idea what to expect....Green Lantern and Blue Beetle?

The art works really well...and if I remember correctly the JLA first appeared in the pages of BB way back when....so maybe we will see much more diverse team up type situations than we are seeing now...

I just hope we see a villain and villain team up... like Darkseid and... Catman...

Anyway, it better be worth it!!!!!!!!!

How's the art? It's George Perez. That automatically means it's the best looking book on the stands.

Cho isn't worthy of holding Perez's pencil.

It is close to perfect and great for a noob. this is a mainstream DC universe book done right. Waid and Perez have a better understanding of DC storytelling that just about anybody. I highly recommend picking up issues 1 and 2.

I'm actually enjoying it more than I thought I would. It's just simple superhero team-ups.

I just put down #2 a minute ago, and I'm just gonna say it in as plain language as possible:

This is the best book DC publishes.

Simply amazing. And the art in issue was stunning. Perez is bringing his A-game to this title (as if he ever brings anything else), and it's a wonder to behold. Waid's characterization is fantastic. There's a wonderful momentum to the story, and the book has a lot of humor to go along with a good deal of action.

It feels a lot like "All Star DCU" to me, except that this All Star book actually ships! Man alive, this is first class stuff.

Oh, and Bendis isn't the only one resurrecting the tought BUBBLE, either. Hal's internal monologue is hilarious, concerning Supergirl. And the dialogue is top-notch, and has an excellent flow to it.

There's no reason not to get this book, and every reason *to* get it. It's THAT good.

Does it go with how the characters act in their book? Like Supergirl here to the one in her series? But yeah I ordered this too... :)
