According to comics212.net (http://comics212.net/2007/03/19/favourite-internet-pastime-4-catch-rich-johnston-with-his-pants-down/), the image Rich posted is just some fan art drawn by Udon editor Jim Zubkavich. Some guy just Photoshoped the picture out and dropped in the SHAZAM! logo.

I still like the picture though.

Good, because that art was total crap. I was very afraid for the cartoon if that was the approach they were going to take.

I don't think the cartoon is cancelled, just that Rich was stupid enough to use fake promo art.

Usually he's pretty accurate

It's a rumour column. There'll be occasional mistakes. Still, Rich is right much more often than he is wrong.

I'm still wondering what the pointy thing is on his right shoulder.:confused: A tumor on his deltoid? A shoulder pad gone awry? Re-colored Batman cape from Howard Porter?
