View Full Version : If the JLA had been treated like the LOSH over the years...

If DC had revamped and *tinkered* with the JLA the same way they have the Legion, then:

The Martian Manhunter would no longer have been a founding member.

Black Canary would have been turned into an actual Canary at one point.

Firestorm would have been a transvestite in the JLA 5 years later story line.

feel free to add to this list :)

I never understood some fans' antipathy to the Shvaugn thing (er...so to speak). I thought it was a cool twist.

Anyhow, JLA did lose Wonder Woman as a founding member, which is easily as big (bigger, in my mind) a deal as losing MM.

Oh, I hated it. Hated it. But I also thought it was great. The 5YL Legion had a lot of stuff like that for me, which is why it's my favourite Legion era.

Hmm, lets see...

Superman would be a DEAD BEAT DAD (ala the Super-loser from Superman Returns)

Aquaman would be an actual merman (with water instead of blood in his veins)...making him a merman 'water vampire' (he would need to 'suck' water regularly to keep alive when out of the sea)

Tim Drake would be the Batman (with Bruce Wayne living in some remote corner of MOGO). :p

Superman would never have really come back from the dead. Instead, it would be revealed that all these years "Superman" has actually been the Eradicator in Superman's body.

ha!

I didn't mind the Schvaughn twist either. I thought it was interesting.

Elongated man would be dead and survive as a subconscious part of BatMan.

Zatanna would be part of an evil team and look like an alien.
