Press Release

Image Comics is pleased to announce that the first issue of DYNAMO 5 has sold out at Diamond. Featuring an action-packed superhero story with an astonishing cliffhanger ending, fans are certain to be back for more. Writer Jay Faerber and and artist Mahmud A. Asrar officially have a hit! A new printing of DYNAMO 5 #1 with an all new cover will soon be available through Diamond Comics Distributors.

"Mahmud and I put everything we had into this book and we're thrilled folks are digging it!" says writer Jay Faerber. "Thanks to all the fans and retailers for supporting D5! And if you thought the end to number one was shocking, just wait until you see what we've got
planned!"

Brian K. Vaughan, story editor of Lost and writer of Y: THE LAST MAN says that DYNAMO 5 is “already one of the best superhero books on the stands.”

"Easily the best new idea for a superhero team book, executed perfectly, and with style and mystery to spare," says Ed Brubaker, writer of CAPTAIN AMERICA and UNCANNY X-MEN.

DYNAMO 5 #1 will be available soon from Diamond Comic Distributers. Retailers may order these issues by contacting their Diamond Customer Service Representative by email at reorders@diamondcomics.com. Image Comics advises that retailers check their orders for the rest of the series as it continues to garner new readers. DYNAMO 5 #2 (FEB071905) will be on stands APRIL 4th and is available for order increase.

With all of the positive buzz this book has generated, I was really disappointed that my LCS didn't pick it up. It's definitely on my list of books to order online though. Congrats to all those involved for putting together a well recieved book that seems to have really connected with the readers!

Sniff sniff :( my retailer missed me on this one...
It sounded and looked great though, and Noble Causes is good comics, so I'm glad this is doing well (and that there'll be a 2nd printing should I need help finding my copy :) )!

Alrighty, then! I am so glad this sold out! Man, besides Omega Flight, this is the only comic I've really been psyched about. I'm pre-ordering both, without a doubt. I hope this is the Spring of the sleepers!

Keep up the good work. :)

There is no guarantee for a trade. You guys should hunt it down or get the second print...you won't be sorry.

Good to hear, nice original story idea, with dynamic art that had a nice Alan Davis feel to it.
These guys deserve every bit of credit for this book!
Well done!
