OK, I re-read it last night, and once I got over my pet peeve about Black Canary being subordinate to Green Arrow I realized that this was, in fact, an amazing issue.

How many more times can we call this the best Justice League story ever??? :)

Best Elongated Man part ever!

That was pretty intense. I can't believe how many characters they are getting into this series while still using them well!

The Teen Titans taking down Elasti-girl and the Doom Patrol was pretty brutal.

HE WAS HIS SHADOW!!!

Yeah, that was something else. Great use of Zatanna and J'onn's powers in this maneuver as well. Not to mention the Metal Men!

I love Justice and I have loved the art, but the art in this latest issue was just--incomprehensible. I had little idea what was going on, particularly with Brainiac and the Aquababy (who was that observing Brainiac from above, and how?), and it significantly reduced my enjoyment of this issue. {Prof. Jonathan}

I have to admit that I had to go back over that scene as well. But I don't know if that's the drawing or the color.

I really loved the first nine issue, but I have to agree that the art was a bit incomprehensible. I had a hard time figuring out the whole big fight - probably due to coloring. I also felt as if this issue was one big ad for action figures.

Gah!

I won't pick this up until tomorrow, but Justice is quietly showing all the Ginormous event creators how to blow the roof off with a great big cape and cowl hero vs. villain mash-up. Ooh does this book kick ass!

I can't wait to read this!

I didn't think that the art was too distracting. I was quite beautiful, actually.

It could have done to have some big Authority-style spreads, tho....and then the series would be a 24-parter! :p

This reminds me of how much I enjoyed Kingdom Come, looking at all of those panels trying to figure out everything that was going on and who everyone was.

Best merchandising hawking series since the Super Powers mini-series, maybe. :p It was going pretty good until the armor thing...which is a hack job of introducing new variant action figures. Puts the large cast in a whole 'nother light now, too.

Still...pretty enjoyable...but cheapened overall by its commercialism, to me.

I will be sorry to see this series end.:(

I agree. It will be sad to see it end. But at the same time, it's been a looooong road to get twelve issues for this series. I'm not complaining. It was well worth the wait.

The biggest thing that makes this series work is including so many characters, using them properly and also paying homage to the past (both heros and villans). I mean c'mon - they used Clayface pretty well in #10. And to top it was to have Ralph containing him. That was way cool.

Hopefully this will jump start maybe another JLA story. Or how about a classic Teen Titans project along this line.... ???

How cool would it be to see something like Justice done to the Teen Titans? (mind you - Dick Grayson, Donna, Wally, Roy, and Aqualad)

My impression is unchanged. A pretty good (if bizarre) story with ugly art and an oddly slow release schedule.

Thankfully, the story and characters are worth putting up with the art.

Awesome, epic story with incredible art as usual by Ross and a impressive list of characters. I love every page of it.
