Its the only book I pick up from DC, so Im never on their site or anything. All I know is that for months Ive been going to my LCS and its never in. Weve had like 5 issues and its been I dont even know how long.
Anyone know whats going on (punctuation isnt working on this keyboard, so just assume theres a question mark here ;))
thanks,
John

A-S Superman 6 came out about a month ago. It was very good - that's my favorite DC book and I buy a lot.
Hope you're able to find it.

A-S Superman is over in ASBMR...giving that series' Superman a DAMN Break (from all that running around as A-S Batman's errand-b!tch ). :p
...sorry, I meant a GODDAMN Break. ;) :D

I havent been to my LCS for a few months, so if it did come out, then he will have held a copy for me. good to know, but the schedule is still pretty inexcuseable.

To me All-Star Superman is on the list with Planetary and Promethea...books that I have waited in agony for even the rumour of a release because when the books do come out they are guaranteed awesomeness.
And there is a cover for #7, so it should be soon, which is more than I can say for ASBaR which has been cancelled and re-solicited so many times but still no hint of a Jim Lee cover...

I don't think it was ever intended to be monthly with Quitely doing art. Bi-monthly at best.

Issue 6 was the last issue to be solicited, and it's already come out. So, there is no problem. It's now officially on time. ;)

All-Star Superman started off bi-monthly, and seemed to keep to that schedule through the first five issues. Issue #6 was delayed pretty substantially (six months, I think).
Give that its Frank Quitely (whose art I adore, admittedly), I'm surprised they kept it on schedule as long as they did. And it still doesn't compare to the train wreck that is All-Star Batman.

In a perfect world, All Star Superman would ship monthly, and we would have at least 14 issues of it by now. However, the truth is that the book ships once every 2 months if we're lucky. When it comes out, it comes out. And when it does, it will be great.

DC Comics (http://www.dccomics.com/comics/?dat=20070401&s=31) site has All-Star Superman #7 out on April 4. Take that for what it's worth ...

as long as they are consistantly late...Im happy. This is also in the pile of Wildcats and Ultimates 2 that I never know when they come out but when it does, im fine.

When it comes out, it comes out.
The same could be said of the main two Supe-titles...Superman and AC. :(

Who would have thought that All Star Superman would have a more consistent schedule than ACTION COMICS?!?!? At least Superman is straightening itself out (#658 shipped the first week of Jan, and #659 is coming out next week)

I'd say Thank Gawd for Batman (primarily the character), but with Morrison being the way he is (both in the quality and schedule department) in Batman the series...
...I'll refrain to, Thank Dini for 'Tec.
BMC is too new to comment on and ASBMR is...

...
... (*I am working on a proper response and will 'release' it in keeping with the schedule of this train wreck of a series*)

tried the first 3 issues and wasnt impress with morrisons batman. I liked the last issue where Damian was focused more...he was like a perverted Robin.

Its Frank Quitely. He said when he draws quickly, he does 3 pages a week.
And DC has the integrity to wait and let his art be an important factor on the book. Unlike some projects where they've put replacement artists on.
