Bob Oskner RIP

How come no news on the passing of DC artist/inker Bob Oskner, who worked on the DC romance titles, comics like Angel and the Ape, Bob Hope, Jerry Lewis and others and inker of Ambush Bug. He was an awesome artist who, as usual with most artists of that time, goes woefully underrated. I believe he has an article in an upcoming issue of Alter Ego magazine.

Yes, I know very few under the age of 35 may even knew who he was but a mention of it would have been a nice gesture.

I really enjoyed his inks over Curt Swan's pencils on Superman & his art on Capt Marvel when DC revived Shazam in the early 70's.

His last name is Oksner. He used to do some great stuff for DC back in the day. I think he did pre-Crisis "Supergirl" title (or maybe when she was in Adventure Comics) for a while also ....

I fondly remember him on both Supergirl and Shazam! It is indeed a crying shame that there's been no major announcement of his death - he deserves better.
