A while back, Neal Adams spoke up about how he'd like to approach the character if he ever got another chance... well, the costume mostly. Love 'em or hate 'em, let's take a look at those controversial ideas:

The new utility belt idea is about the only thing I'm crazy about. Though I'm not sure how it would work with Batman's acrobatic moves.

That picture is old news. Adams first posted that a long time ago.

That to me is just an awsome look, all though I do love the Batman look of the comics right now, that is a great costume and all the things on it serve a purpose. Like I said I love the Batman in the comics now, but really, if Jim Lee and Frank Miller cant get there stuff together, who better to do a Batman comic than the man who helped revolutionize the character.

I think at this point its time to take that off of jims plate and maybe just hand allstar over to adams?

Very cool for an Elseworld. Not cool for regular continuity.

I thought Neal Adams had originally been tapped to do the second arc of "All-Star"...too bad Jim Lee will never finish the first arc >heavy sigh<

Not really to my liking - too muscley. I prefer Paul Pope's version.

So basically he would redesign it as the movie costume.

Man, Neal Adams rocks. He was so far ahead of his time. I think that his work is some of the few peices that were done in the '60s and still look incredible today.
