Back in outsiders they had a Jay Gerrick clone, did they ever figure out where it came from? I dropped the title before the end of the arc...

i know off hand there was a Firestorm clone.. not sure how they got the dna... i think they got it after fights or something

There was also a Superman clone that could breathe fire. There were a bunch others, but I don't know who they were cloned from.

The Firestorm clone doesn't make sense unless they knew who Firestorm was.

How did they get Jay's DNA?

We learn that Brain and Mallah have been raiding battle sites for any trace of meta-human DNA for years ( a drop of blood here, a strand of hair there, etc.).
